  • Typical Service: Chlor-alkali applications such as sodium hypochlorite and caustic soda; non-metallic flanges with limited seating stress; most chemical service (acid and caustic) where steam and hot water may be present.

OPTI-LOAD® FKM-MAX | High Performance Fluoroelastomer

  • Low load to seal gasket made from a high performance FKM compound that is suitable for a wide variety of chemicals.
  • Typical Service: Strong acids; caustics; hydrocarbons including greases, oils and petroleum; chlorine (wet/dry); water; saturated steam; non-metallic flanges with limited seating stress; and applications where environment may permeate/degrade other elastomers from the outside.
  • Temp. Range: Min: -15°F; Intermittent: 400°F

OPTI-LOAD® PXC EPDM | High Performance Peroxide-Cured EPDM

  • Low load to seal gasket made from high performance peroxide-cured EPDM rubber with greater temperature and chemical resistance. Molded with integral sealing rings for improved sealability.
  • Typical Service: Non-critical service in chlor-alkali industry, hot water, low pressure steam, dilute alkalis, brake fluid.
  • Temp. Range: Min: -55°F; Intermittent: 300°F

OPTI-LOAD® T-SHIELD| Peroxide-Cured EPDM/Blue PTFE

  • Low load to seal gasket made from peroxide-cured EPDM rubber with blue PTFE envelope to shield the gasket from contact with process media.
  • Typical Service: Non-metallic flanges and flanges that have limited seating stress available and most chemicals 0-14 pH.
  • Temp. Range: Min: -40°F; Max: 300°F
