Type 9 Seal

The type 9 seal features a PTFE wedge secondary seal which is inert to most chemicals. The type 9 is well suited for chemical service including common acids. Exotic alloy metallurgy is available upon request for more severe chemical applications. All Thomson component seals are available in a broad range of face materials and elastomers.
